These partnerships with the court system allow individuals with behavioral health diagnoses and criminal charges to be diverted from the traditional criminal justice system and volunteer to receive treatment in place of a traditional sentence.  Participants agree to maintain a program of treatment during which they have the opportunity to address the root causes of their difficulties.
