To promote the safety and welfare of the public through regulation, licensing, enforcement, education, advocacy of quality health care and promotion of healthy development and protection of children.

Vision

We foresee a future where HCQC has a staff vacancy rate of no more than 5%; where all inspection staff are qualified or have experience in multiple facility types within their assigned section; and where HCQC accomplishes all required inspection and investigation workload.
