The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Section partners with the Access to Healthcare Network (AHN) to administer the Colorectal Cancer Control Program (CRCCP). CRCCP is a colorectal cancer early detection program dedicated to serving low-income, high-risk, uninsured/underinsured men and women aged 50 - 64 living in Nevada. The goal of the CRCCP is to reduce the burden of colorectal cancer through education, early screening and diagnostics, care coordination/case management, and improved accessibility to treatment. The funding also supports health systems change, data collection and surveillance, public education, outreach, provider education, and evaluation activities to measure the clinical outcomes, costs, and effectiveness of the program. CRCCP is 100% federally funded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
