MOT

The Management Oversight Team (MOT) of the Bureau of Behavioral Health Wellness and Prevention, Behavioral Health, Prevention and Treatment (BHPT) is responsible for the program’s accounting, budgeting, reporting and financial monitoring activities. The team coordinates the processing of requests for reimbursements from subrecipients, reviews subrecipient agreements, tracks and reviews subrecipient single audits and conducts fiscal monitoring of funded programs and providers.

Fiscal monitoring of subrecipients is conducted in conjunction with an independent annual audit of the programs and provider’s organizations. The purpose of the fiscal monitoring is to ensure that organizations receiving federal and state assistance have the financial management systems in place that are capable of meeting the federal and state subrecipient requirements.
