Pursuant to NAC 458.103, A program must be certified by the Health Division to be eligible for any state or federal money for substance use programs administered by the Health Division pursuant to chapter 458 of NRS for the prevention or treatment of substance-related disorders.
All applications for treatment services, prevention services, administrative services, or detox technician certifications MUST be completed through our online portal.
Apply for Certification Online
Pursuant to NAC 458.133 and NAC 458.138, certifications are nontransferable and application fees are nonrefundable. Please verify the information on your application is correct and complete before submitting it to the Bureau for processing.
Applicants are asked to provide their I-TF number on their certification application. This should be applied for before submitting the certification application. Turnaround time can be 6-8 weeks.

File a Critical Incident Report
If you have a current BCEN certification, and encounter a Critical Incident, please submit a report by visiting the Critical Incident Form page and submitting the SmartSheet.
