What is the Office of Data Management?
The Bureau and its partners handle troves of sensitive, important data about behavioral health programs including data collected through substance use prevention, treatment services, mental health programs and more. The Office of Data Management ensures that federally required data is being collected as required by state and federal law, and that data is subsequently being stored safely and effectively to guarantee that Nevadans' personal health information is protected.
How Do We Help?
By collecting and protecting behavioral health data, the data management team ensures that the Bureau and its funded partners know that their programs are effective and how to improve the services that are being provided to Nevadans. The Data Management team ensures that the Bureau has all the tools necessary to identify weak points in specific programs, identify gaps in certain areas in Nevada and complies with all federal and state law.
