“Independent center for emergency medical care” means a facility, structurally separate and distinct from a hospital, which provides limited services for the treatment of a medical emergency.
Licensing and Applications
To apply for a license to operate an independent center for emergency medical care, you must complete the following:

- Construction and Plan Review - Plan Review Application
- Application to license the laboratory
- Application to permit x-ray equipment
- Application to license the pharmacy
